EARL Houston has just got even better! Not only do we have Hadley Wickham delivering a keynote address, we also have one of R’s originators, Dr. Robert Gentleman.
Robert Gentleman is the vice president of computational biology at 23andMe. His work focuses on the exploration of how human genetic and trait data in the 23andMe database can be used to identify new therapies for disease. Robert Gentleman has also been awarded the Benjamin Franklin Award, a recognition for Open Access in the Life Sciences presented by the Bioinformatics Organisation and is Fellow of the International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB).
We can’t wait to hear Robert Gentleman’s keynote, which will surely be one of the many highlights at EARL Houston this year.
