Data science goes professional: On November 2 and 3, the [R] Kenntnis-Tage 2016 offer valuable insights into diverse application examples of the programming language R to users, developers, administrators and IT decision makers. Now the program has been released.

In the age of Internet of Things, data has long become the new currency for the industry and data science the new key qualification for a successful business. The program is all about variety: Guest talks by Trumpf Laser, Lufthansa Industry Solutions and other representatives of various sectors offer insights into the broad range of application possibilities of data science. Besides talks about topics such as “Working efficiently with R” and “Multidimensional clustering with web analytics data”, diverse sessions will ensure additional knowledge: How can R be used to create attractive visualizations? Which possibilities and methods for recognizing patterns in time series does the programming language offer? And which aspects need to be considered when introducing R into the productive business environment?
