With the new Joyent Manta R SDK we’re diving into the R community, so we’re honored to be included in the R-Bloggers blog here. We hope to have more R and statistics posts there.
The packages’ author, Dr. Christopher Hogue has been a great addition to the Joyent team, given his experience as running large-scale bioinformatics research, among many talents.
Speaking of the area of data analytics, he will be hosting a live webinar on the use of the R SDK. That SDK lets R language users run very large Map/Reduce invocations in the cloud without any set up or maintenance. It can also store large datasets in a logical manner. And it’s billed by the second.
