It's been a little while since we've rounded up the new local R user groups around the world, so here are the latest ones on the scene:
- Edmonton, Canada: The Edmonton R User Group is the first in the Canadian province of Alberta and the most northerly group in North America. It started up back in October last year and has already held four meetings.
- Manila, Philippines: The Philippines R Users' Group is based in Quezon City in Metro Manila.
- San Francisco, CA: R-Ladies SF is a group targeted to female R users in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Auckland, New Zealand: The Auckland R Users Group, located in the birthplace of R, is working to schedule its first meeting.
- Manchester, UK: The inaugural meeting of ManchesterR will be on February 7.
- Munich, Germany: The Munich useR Group hosts its first meeting on January 16.
