From the 25th of march onwards, Dr. Luis Torgo will teach a Data Mining with R course together with the DIKW Academy in Nieuwegein, The Netherlands. Dr. Torgo is an Associate Professor at the department of Computer Science at the university of Porto. He is also the author of the book Data Mining with R. His interest are in Machine Learning in general, but particularly focused on inductive learning problems.
The course is aimed at professionals interested in business analytics and data mining. Previous programming experience is not mandatory, but does help in getting the most effect from the course. More information can be found on the course page of the DIKW Academy.
