Good news for students wishing to attend the annual useR conference (
useR!2012).
Through generous
sponsor support (
ASA, and
RStudio), a limited number of student scholarships
1 are available for reimbursement of travel and registration costs up to $500. The allocation will be based on merit and need. Students who wish to apply should send an application to Tatsuki Koyama (
tatsuki.koyama@vanderbilt.edu) no later than April 15th, 2012. Include a brief CV, a copy of your abstract if one was submitted, a statement that demonstrates your need for financial assistance, and a letter of support from your supervisor.
